Frieze Los Angeles 2026

In many ways, the Frieze art festival is just one of the many art events that happens across the city at the end of February. It’s brings galleries from around the world (and in the city) to 2 huge hangers at the Santa Monica Airport. It’s an amazing collection of both major figures of contemporary art (Jasper Johns, Ed Ruscha, Richard Diebenkorn) to up and coming artist like Dona Nelson, Jasmin Sian, and Jordan Ann Craig. Seeing a wide spread of practices from painting to textiles to sculpture, it’s inspiring in the craft of making, intricacy of the surfaces, and the beauty of the discovery.
